Warning: This story is rated T for Teen for mild violence and language.
Author's notes: P.O.V stands for point of view. I do not own any of these characters except for Momoko. All Naruto characters (c) Kishimoto Masashi.
Fruit of Love
~~~Gaara's P.O.V~~~
The moon is red as blood. The ground is covered with it. The last surviving ninja tries to escape, but I surround him with my sand as he yells with fear and attempts to grab the soil.
"Die." *SPLURK* "AHHH!!" "Hmph. Pathetic." I hear someone breathing behind me, so I turn around to find a girl covered with blood and with senbon sticking out of her body. She was out cold, and I felt something inside that made me want to help her. I picked her up with my sand and returned to the hotel that I was staying at.
I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. The girl was now in my arms and still unconscious, and she is surprisingly very light. The knob begins to turn and Temari opens the door.
"Can we keep her?" I say holding the girl out to her. "W-what? Gaara, what the hell..." Kankuro appears in the door next to Temari and says, "What's going on here? Ooh, Gaara's got a girlfriend, huh? Pretty ho--" *BAM* "OW! What the hell was that for, woman?!" he said, rubbing his head. (I've given Temari permission to be violent towards Kankuro, and she seems to be enjoying it.)
"Serves you right, you pervert." Temari turns towards me and takes the girl from me. "We can't keep the girl, but we can take care care of her until she's better, okay?"
*The next day*
~~~Momoko's P.O.V~~~
*Chi, chi* 'Birds? Is it morning already? Is the fight over?' I open my eyes to find a red-haired boy with sea-foam blue eyes looking down over me. "Um...good morning..." I said nervously. "Hello. Who are you?" I jump out of the bed and scream, "WHO AM I? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!! " I threw a pillow at his face and he didn't even flinch. (More soon to come! --1TophRockz)
