"K-Kiba-kun!!" Hinata cried after him, but he had already left. Kiba went outside, and sat on the ground. He put his head in his hands and let out a big sigh. Akamaru whined concerned. Hinata silently walked up behind him.

"Kiba-kun..d-do you..really like me?" She asked him gently. She wiped her face and began to regain her regular skin tone.

"Yes. Yes, Hinata I do." he replied, he was grinning pathetically, but still holding his head. He stood up after a while and faced her, grabbed her by her shoulders and looked her in the eyes. He almost spaced out while looking at them. Her beautiful, lavender eyes he loved so dearly. He came back to his senses and got a serious face.

"I have to know," He said, "Do you like me?"

She was shocked. pondering her thoughts. She liked, no, loved Naruto...but Kiba had always been by her side. Helping her, encouraging her. He was nice, and acknowledge her. She finally came to a conclusion.

"No." She said.

Kiba was surprised, and heartbroken, but didn't show it. He turned around and nodded. He almost started crying. He took a step and then Hinata whimpered a bit to get his attention, so he turned to look at her.

"I love you." She said half smiling, half twitching.

Kiba was motionless, but finally he turned around to face her. She was about to say something, but he pulled her into a kiss. They both seemed to fade away in thought. Of how much they love each other, and how long it took for both of them to either say it or realize it...but now that doesn't matter, huh?
